Sunday Yummy Sunday: Brunch
Since god knows when I have lived by hospitality hours, Tuesday-Saturday, nights and weekends. Even though I no longer work in restaurant and resort management, I still have an utter fondness for the quintessential Sunday Brunch. It is that day of the week that you can wake up at whatever hour suites your fancy and pop open a bottle of bubbly or non-alcoholic fizzy and cook or dine out to your hearts content, hosting family and friends or just going for that solo indulgence, if you haven’t tried it, oh- you haven’t lived.
Brunch- that meal where anything goes, leftovers from the week get a facelift, traditional favorites grace the menu and new inventions get their day in the sun.
Join me as we journey into the kitchen a recreate some of my favorites from my adventures abroad, inspired by culture and taste.
Here is what’s on the menu:
Oatmeal Pancakes with Macerated Berries
Chai Spiced Chia Pudding Parfaits with Simple Apple Compote and
Homemade Nut Granola
Shakshuka- a Moroccan-inspired egg, tomato and pepper bake
Garlic and Herb Roasted Potatoes
Invite your kids to join or get that close friend you have kept close throughout the pandemic to pop in and share this special time together brunchin’
